What You'll Need

Type 1 Limestone (or a similar Aggregate as a sub-base)
Quality Rake
Building Sand
Cement
Jointing Compound
Rubber Mallet

• Prepare the Area – Clear to 150mm depth, remove weeds & level the ground.
  
• Lay the Sub-Base – Use Type 1 Limestone (50mm depth) for stability.
  
• Compact (Optional) – A wacker plate ensures a solid foundation.
  
• Mix Cement – Spread slurry-like mix in small sections.
  
• Lay Setts – Position with 20mm gaps, tapping gently with a rubber mallet.
  
• Apply Grout – Fill gaps evenly & smooth out for a polished finish.
  
• Let it Set – Allow 6+ hours to cure. Cover if rain is expected!
