How is porcelain cladding fixed?
With a quality tile adhesive applied at a 45-degree angle for full coverage, pressing each piece firmly into place. The tiles butt-joint tightly together, so there is no grouting to do afterwards.
Porcelain or Ledger Stone, which look is right?
Porcelain cladding gives crisp, linear strips with the low-maintenance benefits of porcelain, while Ledger Stone offers a deeper, stacked-stone texture with dramatic shadow lines. Both work indoors and out.
Is cladding frost-proof?
Yes, the porcelain ranges are non-porous so water cannot penetrate and freeze within them, and Ledger Stone is made for exterior exposure. Both shrug off British winters.
How do I calculate how much I need?
Multiply your wall height by its width for the area in square metres, then check the coverage on each listing; Sienna packs of 8 pieces cover 0.72 square metres, for example. Add a small allowance for cuts.
What upkeep does cladding need?
Porcelain just needs an occasional wipe or rinse and never needs sealing. Ledger Stone is similarly low maintenance; a soft brush and water keep the texture sharp.
