Sealing is the difference between a patio that shrugs off spills and one that stains the first summer. This collection covers the Azpects sealing and priming essentials: EasySeal SSP for invisible stain protection, the Enhancer and Sealer for a richer finish, Back to Black for reviving faded limestone, and Sealer Remover for undoing past mistakes.
Primers matter just as much at the start of the job as sealers do at the end; porcelain in particular relies on a priming slurry to bond properly to its mortar bed.

Does my paving actually need sealing?
Porcelain never does; it is non-porous by nature. Natural stone benefits from sealing in higher-risk spots, under trees, near planting, around BBQ and dining areas, where organic staining is most likely.
Should I choose an invisible or enhanced finish?
EasySeal SSP protects without changing the look of the stone, keeping everything natural. The Enhancer and Sealer deepens the colour for a richer finish, closer to how the stone looks when wet. Both protect; the choice is purely aesthetic.
When and how should sealer be applied?
The paving must be clean, completely dry and fully cured before sealing. Apply EasySeal SSP evenly, adding a second coat wet-on-wet before the first dries, then allow 8 hours before foot traffic and 24 hours for a full cure.
How far does a container go?
A 5-litre EasySeal SSP covers up to 40 square metres per coat, dense stones stretching further than porous ones. Back to Black covers around 40 square metres per litre, and Sealer Remover roughly 7.5 square metres per 5 litres.
Can I seal over an old sealer?
Not reliably. Lacquer and polymer-based coatings should be stripped first with Easy Sealer Remover so the new sealer can penetrate the stone. Note the remover does not work on impregnating sealers.
How often should paving be resealed?
Every few years is typical, sooner on heavily used or exposed areas. A simple test is to splash water on the surface: if it soaks in quickly rather than beading, the protection is fading.
