Do 4Life sheds need annual treatment?
No. The timber is pressure treated during manufacture and backed by a 25-year anti-rot guarantee, so preservative treatment is never needed. It is the longest guarantee of its kind on the market.
Should I choose an apex or pent roof?
An apex roof gives you a traditional look with maximum headroom down the centre of the shed. A pent roof slopes one way, making it ideal for positioning against a back wall or fence where a lower profile suits.
How are the sheds delivered?
Free to most UK addresses using Forest Garden's White Glove service. The delivery team places the shed sections exactly where you want them in the garden and takes all the packaging away with them.
Are they difficult to assemble?
The 4Life design uses fully modular panels delivered in smaller sections, which makes assembly more manageable. A full set of fixings and clear instructions is included, and two people will make light work of it.
What are the floors and roofs made of?
Unlike many sheds that use OSB, 4Life buildings have a 12mm solid timber floor for heavier storage and an 8mm solid sheet roof finished with a green mineral felt for full weatherproofing.
