Saige Balustrades, Answered
What comes in a balustrade kit?
Each kit covers a 1.11m x 1.73m section and includes eleven FSC-certified composite spindles, a 1.155m post with cap, handrails with T-brackets and screws, a baseplate with bolts, a baseplate skirt and the necessary inserts. Everything to build the section is in the box.
What colours are available?
Saige balustrades come in Grey, Charcoal, Driftwood and Coffee, a palette developed to match the Saige composite decking, fencing and gate ranges for a fully coordinated outdoor design.
Do I need anything beyond the kits?
A 1.133m end post with cap is sold separately to finish runs, so count your sections and add end posts where a run terminates. Our team can help you plan the layout.
What maintenance do composite balustrades need?
Virtually none. There is no sanding, staining or painting; the composite resists rot, warping, splintering and fading, so an occasional wash keeps everything looking sharp.
Will they match my decking?
The colours are designed around the Saige composite ranges and sit beautifully alongside our Wessex Verde decking tones too. If you are unsure which finish pairs best, visit a depot or send us a photo of your boards.
Are they suitable for commercial projects?
Yes, the durable, low-maintenance construction makes them a solid choice for hospitality venues, commercial developments and rental properties as well as family gardens.
