Choose the Drive Grid for domestic driveways, the heavy-duty Commercial Grid for car parks and access roads, or the handy Path Grid packs for garden walkways. The powder-coated steel edging comes in 65mm, 100mm and 150mm heights and four colours, with each pack of five lengths laying five linear metres.

What do gravel grids actually do?
The honeycomb cells hold gravel tightly in place, stopping the migration, rutting and bare patches that plague loose surfaces. The result is a firm, even driveway or path that needs no raking or topping up.
Which CORE grid is right for my project?
The Drive Grid suits domestic driveways and parking spaces, the Commercial Grid is engineered for car parks, access roads and caravan parks, and the Path Grid handy packs are perfect for garden walkways. If in doubt, tell us about the traffic and we will advise.
Do the grids stop weeds?
Drive and Path grids come with a non-woven weed membrane heat-welded to the underside, blocking growth from below and stopping gravel working into the sub-base. It is one less layer to buy and lay.
Are gravel grids permeable?
Yes, water drains freely through the filled cells into the ground below, preventing puddles and helping driveways meet sustainable drainage requirements. The Drive Grid is also DDA and Part M compliant for wheelchair and walking aid access.
How flexible is the steel edging?
Very. CORE flexible steel edging forms straight runs, sweeping curves and full circles, with double locking tabs giving an almost seamless connection between lengths. Each pack of five lays five linear metres once overlapped.
Which edging height should I choose?
The 65mm profile suits lawn edges and subtle borders, 100mm is the all-rounder for beds and gravel areas, and 150mm handles deeper beds and small level changes. All heights come powder coated in Brown, Green, Ghost Grey and Anthracite.
Can the edging be reinforced after installation?
Yes, the expanding clip and galvanised rebar system adds an extra 300mm of ground anchorage and can be fitted after the edging has gone in, so there is no need to lift anything to add support.
