Grey Paving Slabs
Grey paving slabs are one of the most popular products in Stone Zone, and it is due to the versatility and modernity of the grey colour. These block paving slabs come in a variation of mid to light-grey shades that will make your garden visually appealing in a snap. The chic grey colour will work especially with white or black garden features, creating a monochromatic look; for example, silver or white paving or charcoal decorative stones will look fantastic with these slabs.
Havana Block Paving for Your Garden
If you are thinking about jazzing up your current, plain driveway, you should consider laying Sandstone Block Paving slabs in your garden. These Block Paving slabs are perfect if you are looking for a garden surface that is low maintenance yet still looks chic and evergreen. One of the most well-known uses for Block Paving is to install them in your driveway. These paving slabs are sturdy and long-lasting, which therefore makes them ideal for domestic and commercial settings that see a lot of foot and car traffic.
Furthermore, if you are instead looking to jazz up your back garden so it's easier to upkeep then these paving slabs are a great option. As a result of the block paving slabs being a smaller size, you are able to create more unique and fun designs that are not possible with larger, traditional paving slabs. Additionally, due to their size, they make a great choice for garden borders that you can easily match with the paving you have chosen.
How to Buy Block Paving
Our Block Paving can be purchased as a minimum of 1 square metre coverage, which will contain a mixture of Block Paving sizes.
Available Block Paving Size
Mixed sizes: 150mm x 150mm, 150mm x 200mm, and 150mm x 250mm.
Why Choose Block Paving?
There are a range of factors why many of our customers choose block paving slabs for their outdoor space. First off, these block paving slabs are extremely strong and have excellent longevity, making them perfect for areas that get heavy foot and vehicular traffic; in both commercial and domestic settings. The paving slabs are 50mm thick therefore you can be reassured that you have a durable surface that will not need replacing for decades.
We are always working hard to ensure that our Sandstone block paving slabs are sourced ethically and environmentally friendly. Sandstone is a natural stone that we procure from Indian stone quarries; these stone formations have been present in this area for hundreds of years. Opting to place Sandstone, Limestone or other natural stones in your garden removes the manufacturing process that is needed for Porcelain Paving, and therefore prevents some energy wastage that would've been used on gas and electricity, making Natural Stone a slightly greener option.
Overall, Sandstone Block Paving slabs are longer-lasting and are fairly simple to take care of. These Block paving slabs have already been through a calibration process, but they still need sealing, for which you can use Azpects EasySeal Stone Sealer & Protector. Once you have properly sealed the paving slabs, there is not much maintenance required. We do strongly advise that you clean across the paved area, giving it a good sweep fairly frequently and a jetwashing every 6 months.
Block Paving slabs are a cost-effective solution to creating your dream driveway or patio; this is specifically true when compared with other features like traditional Paving slabs or natural Decorative stones and chippings. Block pavers are also simple to work with as you easily calculate how many pieces you would need for any given project, and to install them you only require a sub-base and one layer of the Block Pavers. On the other hand, installing Garden Stones is a much more laborious and time-consuming process as alongside the sub-base you would need a substantial layer of stones for the project to work.
Finally, Block Paving is available in many colour options, including Grey Block Paving, Black Block Paving and Beige Block Paving. There are also two natural stone options, as well as 20mm Porcelain Cobble Setts which are a very similar alternative.
What is the Difference Between Block Paving and Cobble Setts?
The most notable difference between Block Paving and Cobble Setts is their depth; Block Paving is 50mm thick and as a result, can be utilised for walkways and driveways which is not possible with Cobble Setts which are much thinner and therefore aren't able to withstand the weight and too much traffic. As a result, due to their slimmer frame, cobble setts are most appropriate as borders, stepping stones and decoration rather than a heavy-duty functional paving method.
