Citron Limestone Block Paving
Stone Zone prides itself on being able to provide a wide range of options for your garden and driveway no matter what kind of aesthetic you are going for. That is why along with our paving slabs, we also supply Paving Blocks developed from natural stone. Their smaller size and uniform shape will allow you to create your dream garden with little effort.
For areas that get heavy footfall and need a heavy-duty surface, Block Paving is the best bet. They are ideal for areas such as industrial units and airports but are equally appropriate for less busy areas like garden patios and driveways.
The Citron Limestone Block Paving are blocks of natural paving slabs that are smaller than paving slabs but slightly bigger than cobble setts, enabling you to create a streamlined and symmetrical look wherever you decide to install them.
The Citron Blocks, similar to the Citron Paving, are natural stones that are in a light greige colour that is both elegant and subtle. These Blocks will look excellent if you want to create a Tuscan, Mediterranean look within your garden and don’t want the paving to be too loud. You can even pair these blocks with the corresponding paving slabs to create a whole host of designs.
Why Choose Block Paving
As we have mentioned before, Block Paving is extremely strong and long-lasting, which means that once laid you do not have to worry about damaging or changing them in the near future, which makes them a great investment and an affordable option.
Block Paving can be used in a wide variety of locations making them a versatile option for paving. If you are thinking about refurbishing your driveway and are aware that it will get a lot of car and foot traffic then Block Paving is the ideal material for you because they measure 50mm in thickness and is therefore strong enough to handle all sorts of traffic.
If you need to restrengthen an already paved area, Block Paving is a simple way to fortify the paving. Areas such as car parks and aircraft aprons greatly benefit from an overlay derived from block paving to add extra security and longevity to these areas. This overlay method is a cost-effective method of securing an area.
Not only is Block Paving a hardy material, but they are also very aesthetically pleasing. They are a great choice for garden patios and driveways because they will add a classic and natural look to your surroundings. The Citron Limestone Blocks, with their subtle grey and beige shades, will look excellent in your driveway if you are looking to create a soft, light look for your garden. The blocks will look great alongside turf, be they fresh or artificial, and will also look great when paved with Citron Limestone slabs.
Citron Limestone Block Paving for Your Garden
Creating a garden patio, border or hard-landscaping area within your garden can be an interesting experience with Citron Block Paving. Due to these blocks being a smaller size than Paving slabs there is a wide range of designs that you can design your garden with.
The Block Paving as the name suggests developed in square shapes that will allow you to create a symmetrical, seamless look in your garden. They are also a great choice if you wanted to create a sturdy stone walkway across your garden creating a cottage-like atmosphere, and because the Block Paving is safe to stand on you will be completely fine walking on the slabs as well.
Maintaining Block Paving
Block Paving is not too difficult to maintain. We suggest regularly going over the area with a brush just to keep away any dirt or debris.
If there is a build-up of algae on the paving, we suggest giving it a good clean or for some stubborn ones, using the highly regarded Azpects Easy Care Masonry Cleaner will be sufficient in order to get rid of all the algae.
We do suggest that you avoid a powerful jetwash on anything other than very dirty and old areas that need extra strength to remove, and we advise that you do not do this more than twice a year as that may affect the strength of the jointing.
Due to the fact that the Block Paving is fairly low maintenance, it is a great choice for a patio or driveway for those who do not want to spend time maintaining their garden or driveway. If you have a busy lifestyle or just don’t want the hassle of a high maintenance paving then Block Paving is the most appropriate option for you.
Difference Between Block Paving and Cobble Setts
The biggest difference between Block Paving and Cobble Setts is that Block Paving is 50mm thick and therefore can be used for walkways and driveways which is not possible with Cobble Setts that are much thinner and so cannot withstand the weight and too much traffic. As a result of their more delicate nature, cobble setts are best utilised as borders and stepping stones and decoration rather than a heavy-duty functional paving method.
Available in Size:
This range of block paving comes in mixed sizes: 150 x 150, 150 x 200, and 150 x 250.
