#1 Scottish Pebbles
Our range of Scottish Pebbles is one of our best-selling natural stones. We reckon it's due to the beautiful combination of colours. Scottish Pebbles contain a mixture of predominantly warm & mid-browns, brick reds, golds and even peach colours. The colours can be appreciated most when the stone is wet, as they really transform into a deep mixture of colours.

This particular stone is premium granite; sea-worn and naturally rounded from the Scottish Highlands. This makes the stone a more eco-friendly option as well as it hasn't been imported overseas. This stone is also fish-friendly, making it perfect for adding to a pond.
These pebbles are available in many different sizes (including cobbles): 8-14mm, 14-20mm, 20-30mm, 30-50mm, 50-80mm and 80-120mm. The most popular sizes are 20-30mm and 30-50mm, which make a great addition to a water feature or pond.
#2 Plum Slate
Another one of our best-sellers is the Plum Slate. This Decorative Stone is much loved by homeowners and landscapers alike. The stunning colour is also a likely reason for this, which is a deep shade of purple. The colour is also most appreciated when wet, as it goes from a mid-lilac colour to a lovely, dark grape purple.

This stone is a natural slate which is flat with an angular, rustic finish. It is quarried in North Wales which also makes this a more eco-friendly choice when considering the distance it has been delivered from. With its fish-friendly qualities, it is suitable for a pond. This product has been recycled and is lime free.
Our slate range also comes in blue, green and black colours, which go through the same transformation process when wet. Two different sizes are available: 20mm and 40mm.
#3 Black Ice Chippings
Our Black Ice Chippings remain a favourite amongst our customers to this day. These chippings really have a premium look wherever placed and also consist of stunning, striking colours of white, grey and black. The colours transform slightly when wet but can definitely be appreciated when dry as well.

This stone is a mixture of angular, basalt and marble chippings. These chippings are iron-free but aren't fish-friendly, so wouldn't be suitable for use in fish ponds. A design idea for these natural black stones and white stones would be to create a small rockery feature in your garden to create a focal point. Those who enjoy a minimalist and monochromatic look in their garden with enjoy Black Ice Chippings
Also part of this family is Ice Blue Chippings, Polar Ice Chippings and Polar White Chippings. They are all available as 20mm chippings.
#4 Golden Gravel
Our Golden Gravel is a long-standing best-seller for many reasons. This gravel has a variety of uses and is a very lost-cost option for those on a budget. The colous are also really attractive compared to everyday shingle, consisting of a mixture of predominantly gold and beige with some grey and white stones as well.

This stone is quarried from local, shingle beaches and even contains some shells here and there! This also makes this stone an eco-friendly option which is naturally fish-friendly and suitable for ponds.
Golden Gravel is available in two sizes: 10mm and 20mm, both are equally popular and cost the same in price.
#5 Cotswold Chippings
And last but not least - Our Cotswold Chippings! These are popular due to their versatility and neutral colours that work well in any garden landscape. The main colours in this stone are cream and beige which go slightly darker when wet. A garden design idea would be to lay these stones as a border around your garden. If you add in plants and succulents you can instantly elevate your garden without too much work.

This stone is angular chipping made of dolomitic limestone. This product isn't fish-friendly, so can't be used within ponds.
Cotswold Chippings are available in sizes: 10-20mm.
