Thanks to its small size, Pea Gravel is also suitable for pathways and driveways. However, as the stones are rounded rather than angular, they don’t interlock as firmly as other gravels or shingle, so we recommend it primarily for decorative applications.

We recommend using Limestone Type 1 (also known as MOT Type 1), a graded 40mm Limestone, which is especially useful for driveways and pathways. While it's not strictly necessary for decorative features, it adds durability.

Start by measuring the area where you’d like to lay your Pea Gravel. Once you have your measurements, use our Quantity Calculator to determine how much base layer and Pea Gravel you'll need.

For garden borders or features, we suggest using Weed Fabric. This will prevent weeds from growing through, keeping your garden looking pristine for years. Our Weed Fabric comes in various sizes to suit your needs.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to our Decorative Stones being a naturally-sourced product, there will always be some variation from batch to batch, especially in terms of colour. On occasion, your garden stones may be very dusty; we recommend hosing your new stones down to wash them and reveal their true colour.
