Terrazzano White Porcelain Paving
Terrazzano Porcelain Paving is new to our Porcelain Paving range and part of our Commercial Garden Paving range. Along with the completely unique patterns that make up this range, it also comes with the quality assurance of longevity and strong durability; this high quality range is commercially approved for Housing Developments and exterior business use.
The Terrazzano range consists of three popular garden paving slab colours: Terrazzano Blanco (white paving slabs), Terrazzano Grey (grey paving slabs) and Terrazzano Black (black paving slabs).
Terrazzano Blanco outdoor porcelain tiles are a beautiful off-white colour that has the appearance of light grey. The paving stone itself has a very eccentric look to it; it has been designed to replicate natural masonry stone with small areas of grey variations that almost look like a stunning mosaic.
The Terrazzano Porcelain Range, along with all of our Porcelain Paving garden slabs, have been developed with Quartz, Pure Clay and other minerals, which are mixed together and blasted to 1400 degrees Celsius, resulting in patio slabs that are long-lasting and durable.

There are many reasons as to why you would choose our Terrazzano White Porcelain Paving slabs; white is a lovely understated colour for your garden patio that is great for customers who have a light coloured, modern-looking home interior. With the colour variations within the paving tile that consist of light grey colours, it gives you a stylish porcelain paving that won't be forever showing up dirt marks too. Whilst we usually recommend the installation of garden paving slabs are carried out by a professional Landscaper, you may be able to complete this task if you have experience in landscaping or building, and have all the equipment needed. Follow our step-by-step guide below for the best tips on laying your garden patio. You'll need to measure the desired area in which you'd like to fill with your garden paving; this includes the width and the length, taking into consideration the current ground condition and any extra work that may need to be carried out to prepare the ground. Once you know the area, you can then purchase your paving slabs. As you'll see, we have a wide range of Porcelain Paving to choose from in many different colours as well as sizes. The most important thing to decide on is whether you want squared tiles, rectangular tiles or mixed size patio packs. Now you've purchased your paving slabs, it's time to get your ground in the right condition for holding your garden paving. Ideally you'll have some form of rope or spray paint you can use to mark out the area you're paving, if required. Using a high quality Landscaping Spade that can withstand potentially hard ground, dig to a depth of at least 150mm, allowing 100mm for the sub-base, 25mm for Sharp Sand or Cement and then the depth of your paving slabs. Use a Spirit Level to make sure the ground is nice and even. You can now start filling in your dug out area with the base that will best support your outdoor paving tiles. Add MOT Type 1 limestone at a depth of 50mm and rake until it is a level surface; you can then start compacting this down by using a Wacker Plate which you can hire from all major Builders Merchants. Add a further 50mm of sub-base and compact this layer as well. Compacting twice is important for ensuring a sturdy base. You should now be able to see and feel a compacted, level base. You can now add your mortar bed at a depth of at least 25mm using either Washed Grit and Cement or Sand and Cement. It's really important to get this step right and to work out the correct ratio of each material you're using. Then, water over the sand to slightly wet the surface until it is fairly moist and then rake over again. It's now time to start placing your patio stones down! We would suggest laying these paving slabs at an angle of 1/60 to prevent standing water forming when it's raining, and to encourage the water to run off. When laying Porcelain Paving slabs, ensure you use a Primer such as Instarmac on the reverse side of the slabs before you lay onto your mortar bed. Place your first paving slab at the highest point of the patio, working from one corner to another; using a Rubber Mallet to tap your paving slabs down into place. REMEMBER: You must leave at least a 3 - 6mm gap between each slab for Porcelain Paving and a 10 -12mm gap for Sandstone and Limestone Paving to allow for the jointing in between. Also, keep in mind that you should seal the back of sawn products to avoid mirroring. Allow the Sharp Sand/ Cement to dry. It is important that it dries slowly, if rain is forecasted, use a large plastic sheet to protect it. Once the mortar bed is dry and the paving slabs are nice and stable, you can start jointing them together. For Porcelain Paving, we would recommend using Azpects EasyJoint Select which is best used when there are two of you and a hose pipe. You could also make your own mortar mix; it’s simply 4-part sand to 1 part cement. If you've chosen to use Azpects EasyJoint compound for the joints, it works as a sweep-in compound that requires lots of water; the wetter the better. You'll need to follow their instructions with one person emptying the bag and the other person hosing the water into the joints. Use a squeegee to fill the gaps between the paving slabs until you're satisfied that they are full.
