30mm Path Gravel
Our 30mm Path Gravel is a long-standing best-selling landscaping product to buy direct from our affordable Aggregates range for your garden project. Its predominantly gold/brown colour shows its natural origin and makes for a very traditional garden landscape.
This affordable Path Gravel is graded from 30mm to dust. This material makes it ideal for pathways, as well as under soakaways and to level out sub base layers. Due to its naturally-occurring build-up, some larger pieces will break up over time and turn to dust, so will need topping up long term.

Being both versatile and affordable, Path Gravel can be used as a simple solution to outdoor pathways around your home or leading to your exterior door. The larger pieces of gravel are classed as angular garden stones, and make the perfect shape and size to lock together to form a stable base for you to walk across. If you're a professional Landscaper and you're installing Artificial Grass, you might want to add Path Gravel as a soft and impact-absorbent base underneath, as well as acting as a soakaway to allow for plenty of drainage. Path Gravel could be paired with Limestone Type 1 to fill in any gaps and create a stable and level base for your Artificial Grass to be installed on. When installing permeable paving such as Sandstone Paving, you might also want to add a soakaway or a permeable base underneath to allow any rain water to surpass. Path Gravel makes for the perfect addition to a soakaway, due to the stones themselves being naturally absorbent, as well as free draining to allow a slow and gentle outlet for rain water to seep through. Soakaways, also referred to as SuDSs (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems), are becoming an increasing necessity to homes and gardens. Most newly-built houses will include some form of a soakaway within the area. The main reason behind installing a soakaway is to prevent the risk of floods, and are common in either built up areas that lack natural drainage sources such as fields or lakes, or in rural areas that lack a large number of drains. Soakaways can be installed below a permeable landscaping feature, such as Artificial Grass or Sandstone Paving. This will ensure the rain water will slowly drain through your garden feature without the risk of standing water on your lawn or patio. They can also be installed alongside your garden feature. Many people have added a small soakaway around their paved area as a decorative border to their paving or lawn. Your paving should be installed at a slight downhill angle, so the rain water will run down the paved area and end up filtering through your soakaway. PLEASE NOTE: Due to our Aggregates being a naturally-sourced product, there will always be some variation from batch to batch, especially in terms of colour. On occasion, your garden stones may be very dusty; we recommend hosing your new stones down to wash them and reveal their true colour.
