Emerald Quartz Ledger Stone Cladding
Our Ledger Stone walling, showcased on DIY SOS, has become a favoured option for homeowners seeking to infuse their exterior spaces with distinctive charm.
Crafted from a blend of concrete, natural stone, and iron-oxide pigments, Ledger Stone undergoes a meticulous manufacturing process. Diverse mould shapes create varying stone thicknesses, while vibrations imbue the stone with an array of natural-looking hues.
Imagine Ledger Stone as a fusion of Natural Sandstone Walling and Porcelain Cladding. It embodies the earthy tones of natural stone while embracing rustic qualities. Additionally, it inherits the durability of manufactured Porcelain Cladding, coupled with its sleek, contemporary appearance.
Contrary to misconceptions, our Emerald Quartz Cladding doesn't feature green hues but instead showcases shades of grey, rusty copper, brown, and black. This diverse palette ensures a captivating visual impact, welcoming guests with its natural yet sophisticated allure.
These nuanced colours blend seamlessly, exuding a high-end aesthetic that effortlessly catches the eye. Whether enhancing the façade of your home or accentuating outdoor spaces, our Ledger Stone walling promises to leave a lasting impression with its timeless appeal and remarkable craftsmanship.
Ledger Stone Cladding for Your House
Ledger Stone Wall Panels offer a perfect solution for enhancing the aesthetics of modern or newly constructed properties. They particularly complement large houses with rendered walls in neutral shades such as grey, white, or beige, providing a striking contrast and adding a touch of vibrancy to the exterior.
When considering where to install Ledger Stone Wall Panels, homeowners have various options to explore. While some may opt to refresh the front facade of their homes, others may choose to focus on the back exterior, creating a serene oasis in their garden. Using stone cladding on exterior walls facing the garden can evoke a modern and luxurious holiday atmosphere, transforming the outdoor space into a serene retreat reminiscent of a high-end villa.
Additionally, homeowners can enhance the visual appeal of other exterior walls within the garden, such as garage walls, by turning them into captivating feature walls. This presents an opportunity to elevate the functionality of mundane walls and transform them into focal points that enhance the overall ambience of the garden.
To further enhance the aesthetic impact of the feature wall, homeowners can consider complementing it with Decorative Stones. Various options such as Chippings and Pebbles are available, allowing for creative combinations that harmonize with the colors and textures of the stone cladding. This cohesive design approach not only elevates the visual appeal but also creates a unified and harmonious outdoor environment.
Moreover, the colours and textures of Ledger Stone Wall Panels complement well with other landscaping elements such as Natural Stone Paving and Porcelain Paving. Integrating these elements creates a cohesive and visually appealing outdoor space, where each component complements and enhances the overall design scheme.
In essence, Ledger Stone Wall Panels offer versatile options for homeowners to enhance the exterior of their properties. Whether used to refresh the front facade, create a tranquil garden retreat, or elevate feature walls, these panels provide a stylish and durable solution to elevate outdoor spaces. By incorporating complementary Decorative Stones and coordinating with other landscaping elements, homeowners can achieve a cohesive and visually stunning outdoor environment that reflects their personal style and enhances the overall appeal of their property.

How to Install Stone Cladding
While we typically advise hiring professionals for landscaping or cladding projects, installing Ledger Stone Panel pieces is feasible for experienced DIYers due to their lightweight nature.
Begin by measuring the area you intend to clad and purchase the required amount either online, over the phone, or in-store, with the option to return any unused pieces within 28 days of purchase.
Prepare the wall by sanding it down to remove any loose debris, ensuring a smooth surface for installation. Lay out the cladding pieces to plan the desired arrangement, as the variation in tile pieces contributes to a natural look.
Trim any overhanging parts of the tiles using a quality tile cutter, keeping in mind that these excess pieces are non-refundable.
Apply tile adhesive to the wall using a trowel, aiming for a 45-degree angle to ensure even coverage. The staggered design of the cladding tiles creates natural-looking joints.
Start laying the tiles from one corner, following the predetermined layout. The tiles are designed to be butt-jointed, eliminating the need for adhesive or grout between the joints.
Press each cladding piece firmly onto the wall, ensuring secure bonding. Allow the wall to set for several hours before checking the progress and ensuring it remains dry for 24 hours to complete the drying process.
