Carbon Black Limestone Paving, which is a rich, dark paving slab, is one of our popular Indian Limestone Paving options with a very attractive set of colours. This minimalist and unique range of shades exudes a light blue hue when dry and more dark grey tones when wet, making sure that no matter what the weather, your paving slabs will always look fantastic.
These paving slabs are calibrated to a 22mm depth which ensures perfect size consistency, long-lasting durability and high quality when laying the slabs.
These slabs are much more porous than other paving materials, especially when compared to Porcelain Paving slabs which are developed in factories. This high porosity is a result of the fact that Limestone are naturally developed stones and because of this they will also show signs of discolouration as well.
Alongside the Carbon Black, we also supply Citron Yellow Limestone Paving and Aqua Kota Limestone Paving slabs.

These natural paving stones have a riven and distinctive finish. Carbon Black Limestone Paving is a popular choice for a range of garden projects, especially common in back garden patios and around swimming pools. We think the Carbon slabs look especially appealing poolside due to the blue stones perfectly contrasting the blue of the water. They are perfect in a garden for those who enjoy a monochrome look. As we have explained earlier, Limestone is a natural stone and as a result of that, the slabs will discolour and change to a slightly lighter shade of blue over time. However, there are ways to hinder the fading process and in order to ensure the colours remain as fresh and vivid as possible, we highly recommend purchasing the Azpects Easy Seal Slate and Limestone, which maintains the colour. Finally, we also advise that you jet wash your Limestone Patio every 6 months to keep it clean of any dirt and debris. There are several qualities between Limestone and Sandstone Paving Slabs that are very similar and this is because both of these paving slabs derive from natural stone quarries based in India where large forms of natural stone have developed over thousands of years. As the more economical option, Limestone is a tad bit more brittle in comparison to Sandstone. But please don't forget that once Limestone has been installed, the durability will be the same as Sandstone Paving, therefore you won't need to worry about the slabs getting damaged. One factor to take note of is that Limestone will naturally discolour as time passed, whether or not you have applied Sealant to the slabs. And this eventual fading does require some maintenance and TLC to retain the original colour as long as possible. Maintaining the original colours in Sandstone Paving is a little easier in comparison. We supply a varied range of Sandstone and Limestone Paving that come in different types and styles. We supply Sandstone and Limestone paving slabs in a Weathered Paving version, with Sandstone Paving slabs can also be bought as Sawn Paving too. If you also want matching garden edging or a nice patio paving border, matching Cobble Setts are also available for both Sandstone and Limestone Paving. Taking all these factors into consideration deciding between Sandstone Paving or Limestone Paving, it really depends on the colours you are looking for, and whether or not you are not bothered about your Indian Limestone fading over time. Both require the same upkeep and have a lovely rustic look to them. There are several discrepancies between Limestone Paving and Porcelain Paving, however. The biggest difference that you need to understand between the two is that they are two completely different materials. Limestone, as we have mentioned before is a naturally formed stone, whereas porcelain Paving is a manufactured stone where the colours and designs are printed on. If you want your garden to have an authentic yet classic design, Limestone is a good choice for that type of look. But if you want to go for something more modern, more glossy, then Porcelain Paving may be the appropriate choice or you. Porcelain Paving tiles being developed in the factory, means we have a much larger variety of colour options and unique patterns available. As you know, Limestone will discolour over the years, which means that the colour and the surface texture fade away slightly. Porcelain, on the other hand, will always retain its colours and finish over time, provided you have looked after it over the years. In conclusion, if you're wanting a garden patio that is easy to look after with a varied range of colours and designs and sizes to choose from, we suggest you take a look at our Porcelain Paving range. If you're looking for a more economical range of paving slabs, that enjoy a natural and rustic look that will age with your property, go for Limestone Paving. Did you know? We sell a 'Natural' Porcelain Paving range, which replicates our popular Natural Paving stones! Natural Black Limestone Porcelain Paving is the range inspired by Carbon Black Limestone.Read More...
