How to Buy VUBA Resin Bound Surfaces

Power washing is effective, but ensure you hold the lance at a 90-degree angle and keep it at least 300mm away from the surface to avoid disturbing the aggregates.

Oil, Dirt & Debris

Oil spills, particularly from lubricants or fuel, can quickly seep into the surface. Clean spills immediately with absorbent materials to prevent stains. For tougher stains, an emulsifying degreaser is recommended. Avoid prolonged use of harsh solvents, and for stubborn stains, contact VUBA for expert advice.

Weeds, Moss & Lichen

The permeable membrane under the resin helps prevent weed growth beneath the surface, but surface weeds may still appear. These can be easily removed using a jet wash. In damp or shaded areas, moss, lichen, or algae may develop—use manufacturer-approved treatments to control these effectively.

Fruit, Berries & Leaves

For existing stains, mix 1.5 litres of sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) with 4.5 litres of water and 100ml of non-oxidising shampoo (such as baby shampoo). Rust & Tyre Marks
