Volcano Ash Porcelain Paving
Volcano Ash Grey Porcelain Paving is part of our modern, stylish range of Porcelain Paving which is hugely popular for garden patios. All of our Paving is R11 non-slip and therefore commercially safe in wet weather and for pool surrounds.
Our Volcano Porcelain Paving range consists of five diverse and popular colours which include Grey Paving Slabs, Beige Paving Slabs, White Paving Slabs, Dark Grey Paving Slabs and Black Paving Slabs.
Our Volcano Ash Porcelain Paving is a stunning, dark grey coloured outdoor paving tile. To give the paving slab a bit of variance, the pattern is made up of mainly grey, with some specks of darker grey throughout. This textured-looking design makes for a more natural and less corporate looking garden paving, that has a little more character about it - and doesn't show up as many marks!
Porcelain Paving is a high quality garden paving that is produced to stand the test of time, and weather, when laid properly. These paving stones are made up of fine minerals such as quartz and clay, then fired to temperatures reaching 1400C, which strengthen the paving slabs and increase their durability.

While natural stone paving, such as Sandstone Paving and Limestone Paving has traditionally been the favourite choice of garden paving, Porcelain Paving is quickly growing to be the paving of choice for many UK garden patios, and for good reason too. From a manufacturing point of view, Porcelain Paving has been created in a factory, undergoing high temperatures and intense pressure in order to create the strength that paving slabs need in order to last a long time in your garden, and be commercially safe for lots of heavy foot traffic. Natural Indian Sandstone, on the other hand, is a naturally-occurring stone that is more brittle and less durable. In terms of the look and having lots of colour options to choose from, Porcelain Paving is the winner here too. Natural stone like Sandstone and Limestone Paving will always be limited to a number of colours due to them being cut away from natural stone quarries. Porcelain Paving, however, can be limitless in the number of colour options and patterns you can choose from. We have over 80 ranges of Porcelain tiles for every budget and style! When choosing between Porcelain and Sandstone Paving, it also depends on the look you're going for in your garden. Do you want a traditional, rustic looking garden that mimics that of a country style garden? If so, Sandstone Paving is probably your best choice. However, if you're looking to create a modern garden patio, Porcelain Paving would be your best bet. Lastly, there is less maintenance involved when it comes to Porcelain Paving in comparison to natural stone paving, as natural stone paving requires sealing in order to maintain the colour and prevent the slabs wearing away. The only maintenance involved with Porcelain Paving is occasional sweeping and yearly jet washing to keep it nice and clean.
