2. Prepare a Stable Base

For best results, lay your decorative stones on a firm foundation:
✔ Use Scalpings or Type 1 Limestone as a sub-base for stability.
✔ Lay it at a depth of 50mm to ensure long-lasting support for borders or pathways.

3. Prevent Weeds from Growing Through

To minimize weed growth, install a Weed Membrane beneath your decorative stones. These are available in various sizes and thicknesses to suit different landscaping needs.

4. Maintain Your Decorative Stone Features

Over time, decorative stones may shift or become compacted, requiring occasional top-ups. Buying a little extra from the same batch ensures that future additions match in color and texture.

5. Final Touches & Care

As natural products, decorative stones can vary in color between batches. Additionally, they may arrive with a layer of dust—simply hose them down to reveal their true color and achieve a fresh, clean look.
