Double Strength
If you are hunting for a primer that will hold up near enough on any surface, indoors and outdoors, then our Maximum Torque is the product for you. Maximum Torque boasts double the strength compared to other grab adhesives you can find in shops. With a high binding strength, you can rest assured that any surface you apply the Torque to is budge-proof and sturdy.
Interior and exterior use
One of the biggest benefits of the Maximum Torque is that it can be used for both interior and exterior projects of your property. This is handy because you don’t have to buy separate products inside and outside your home.
Damp Surfaces
You do not have to worry about waiting for dry weather or wiping anything dry before using Maximum Torque because it is completely suitable to be applied on damp/wet surfaces without having any detrimental effect on the strength of the adhesive.
Waterproof/Weatherproof
No matter the weather or temperature where you are, Maximum Torque can withstand a wide spectrum of temperatures. Specifically, the Torque can be used in temperatures between -40 degrees C to +80 degrees C which tells you that any surface that has been attached using the Torque will not budge whether it’s freezing or boiling.
Fast curing
If you are looking for a primer that is time efficient, and will enable you to finish projects quickly then the Maximum Torque is the best option for you. The Torque is fast-curing, which means once applied to your chosen surface the product will dry and cure quickly allowing you to enjoy your completed project quicker as well. One thing to keep in mind is that you cannot seal mirror edges/plastic sheeting until the adhesive has cured.
Over-paintable
We know that having the Torque visible around the edges may not be the most visually appealing, therefore it’s a huge benefit that you can paint over the primer once it has cured and therefore creating a more seamless and cleaner look in your home or garden.
Solvent-free
If you have children and pets around your home and are concerned about exposing them to unnecessary solvents, you’ll be pleased to know that the Torque doesn’t contain any harmful solvents, therefore making it completely safe to use around your home and garden.
Versatile
Maximum Torque Primer can be used with a lot of surfaces, such as metals, most plastics, glass, concrete, plaster, plasterboard, polyester, Perspex, glass, wood, enamel, painted surfaces etc. This means that you have a wide variety of options for your home when it comes to different surfaces.
Everbuild Maximum Torque Adhesive for your Home and Garden
There are several ways the Torque can help in creating your perfect garden and home and we have some garden design ideas that you can easily apply to your garden.
A popular use for the Torque is to apply them on Composite Cladding segments which you can stick on both the interior and exterior walls of your property. This will allow you to instantly add colour and texture around your home without having to renovate the area completely.
Take a look at our wide range of Stone Cladding range, we supply the Volcano range in White, Grey, Dark, Beige and Taupe; Spectrum St. Moritz in Deserto, Gris, Black and Terra, and many more for you to browse through.
Keep In Mind
It is important to note that when hanging anything overhead or when hanging large mirrors, we STRONGLY recommend using the Torque in tangent with Mechanical Fixings for ultimate support. We understand that this may mean you have to purchase mechanical fixing separately however, it is best practice to ensure that everything is as stable and budge-proof as possible.
To use Maximum Torque to its full capacity you will need a high-quality Sealant Gun. You can find our Roughneck Heavy Duty Sealant Gun at our depots right now.
Although we have mentioned that maximum Torque can be applied to a wide range of surfaces, some surfaces you need to avoid are the ones that bleed oils and plasticisers as that will lead the primer to not adhere to the surface properly and risks your surface getting damaged.
How to Apply Everbuild Maximum Torque Adhesive
1. You must ensure that all surfaces you are going to be sealing are completely clean.
2. All Maximum Torque primer comes equipped with a pre-cut V-notched nozzle which ensures that the correct amount of primer comes out of the tube. To begin, snip off the tip of the cartridge carefully so you don’t damage the thread.
3. Screw the nozzle and apply the product on the surface using a Sealant Gun. Make sure to apply the primer at a 90-degree angle to the surface so it can be bonded properly.
4. Apply the Torque directly onto the back of the surface you want to hang up, but make sure that you apply the primer in lines that are 30-40mm apart.
5. Immediately place the surface where you need it to go securely and apply even pressure with a very subtle twist action.
6. Finally, keep in mind that with Maximum Torque it takes around 15-30 minutes for the primer to the skin over, but make sure to allow 24 hours per 2mm depth of product used to ensure complete security. If your chosen surface is non-porous this process may take longer.
