Dove Grey Limestone Paving
Dove Grey Paving Slabs are part of our Natural Stone Paving range. We get our Paving Stones direct from Indian Quarries we have visited to ensure we are delivering the best possible quality and prices to our customers.
This popular Limestone Paving consists of shades of light grey; resembling a more characteristic and unique version of concrete paving with it's subtle array of colours. These colours darken when wet to create more depth, grey paving slabs, which really enhances the variations of colours.
To ensure a strong durability and consistent quality, this paving range has been calibrated to 22mm thickness. As these paving slabs are naturally quarried, the colours will vary slightly in shade. These patio slabs will also naturally weather and change colour over time as well.

If you're looking for a rustic patio with plenty of natural character as well as strength and long-lasting capabilities, Limestone Paving is the right choice for you. Our Limestone paving has been used in various projects across the UK. People like this in their garden patio as they make great al fresco dining areas as well as commercial landscape areas like cafe courtyards and manor houses. Our Natural Stone Paving is sourced from quarries in India. Within these quarries, the paving slabs are cut from large pieces of rock to then be cut down by hand to size. Square Edge paving is finished slightly differently; instead of a hand-split, fettled edge, the edges have been machine sawn. This process ensures a clean, smooth finish to the edges and guaranteed consistency across the paving stones. This helps create a smart and modern patio. There are many similarities between Limestone and Sandstone Paving due to both of them deriving from Indian stone quarries, and being very similar stone types. One benefit of choosing Limestone Paving is they are the more cost-effective, but keep in mind that depending on the colour, they may require more maintenance. This is because a Stone Sealer is recommended for protection of the stone and the colour, we would recommend Azpects EasySeal. As the more cost-friendly option, Limestone is slightly more brittle when compared to Sandstone. However, once Limestone has been laid, the durability will be the same as Sandstone Paving. An aspect to take note of is that the colours in Limestone paving slabs will naturally fade over time, whether or not Sealer is used. And this eventual fading does require some upkeeping to retain the original colour as long as possible. Maintaining the original colours in Sandstone Paving is slightly easier. There are many varieties available for Sandstone and Limestone Paving. Sandstone is available as Weathered Paving and Sawn Paving options; and Limestone Paving is available in Square Edge and also comes in the weathered variety. There are many differences between Limestone and Porcelain paving; the major difference being how they are created. Limestone, as we stated earlier, is a naturally formed stone whereas porcelain Paving is manmade stone and is therefore available in many different colours and finishes. If you want your garden to have a rustic, natural aesthetic, Limestone is the best option. But if you want to go for something more unique and contemporary, we suggest you choose Porcelain Paving. As you know, Limestone will weather as time passes, with the colour and the surface texture wearing away slightly. On the other hand, Porcelain, due to the fact that its manufactured, it retains its colours and finishes over time. It is important to know that there is a little bit more maintenance involved with Limestone Paving, because it does require jet washing every 6 months. Upkeeping Porcelain Paving is much easier as it only requires a hose down every 6 months to keep away any dirt and debris.Read More...
