2023 Landscaping Trends
With the new year fast approaching, we want to be ahead of the curve and inform you of the best landscaping news and products to help you prepare for 2023. That is why we have created a list that has design ideas and tips to make sure your garden is in line with current trends and hasn’t fallen behind.
‘Garden of Eden’ style garden
The Garden of Eden style gardening refers to the practice of creating an environment within your garden for produce and plants to grow naturally. A great example of this is blackberries, I am sure we have all seen bunches of blackberries scattered around in parks and green areas, and they occur naturally without anyone tending to or watering them.
To create your own garden of Eden just follow the simple instruction that we created especially for you. Our steps will give you a good head start to create your own garden of Eden where you’ll be able to enjoy the produce grown with hardly any effort.
Step 1: Decide where the garden is going to go. To make life easier you can use an already bedded area or an area where there is grass and dirt. You don’t have to tip up soil for this process.
Step 2: Cover the entire area with 4 inches of compost. Make sure the compost you get does not contain anything that may deter you from eating produce grown in it.
Step 3: Cover the compost with 5-6 inches of wood chips.
Step 4: Start planting! Scrape back some of the chips and start planting. This is where the chips come in helpful as they’ll prevent weeds from sprouting through.
Step 5: Reap the benefits of your garden as it will grow your favourite produce for months to come!

Waterwise plants
Being environmentally friendly and more cautious of water usage is becoming more and more pertinent. That is why we are seeing more households taking extra care to ensure they are growing plants that require less water but do not compromise on visual appeal.
Waterwise plants or drought-resistant plants are a specific type of plant that is able to store larger amounts of water for a longer time, therefore, ensuring they stay fresh and blooming no matter the season.
