Travertine Weathered Beige Porcelain Paving
Brand new to the 2022 Porcelain Paving collection is our Travertine range. As with all our premium ranges of garden paving, Travertine is hard wearing, high quality, low maintenance and non-slip; achieving a minimum of R11 skid value.
Our entire porcelain range is frost-proof and resistant to grime, mould and staining, making it ideal for pool surroundings.
This paving is completely unique in the sense that the corners and edges of the paving slabs have a worn weathered effect; cleverly replicating weathered Sandstone Paving.
This cream-coloured paving contains other colours within this spectrum, including warm beiges.
Travertine Weathered Porcelain Paving for Your Garden
If you're trying to create the classic cottage look to your home or garden, Travertine Weathered Paving is a great option. With its unique characteristics, Travertine can really bring your outdoor space to life.
Other popular uses for this garden paving is placing these porcelain tiles in period properties or manor houses. This gives the appearance of the paving being laid for centuries to create interest and intrigue.

How to Lay Porcelain Paving
Installing a garden patio is a very large job that requires a lot of skill and ideally, experience in laying paving. Due to this, we strongly suggest that you hire a professional landscaper to lay and install the paving slabs for the best chances of your paving being laid properly and in a way they will last.
A common way of preparing your base layer is to use Building Sand or Washed Grit alongside Scalpings to create an additional sub-base layer for the paving to sit on.
At Stone Zone, we supply a variety of jointing compounds that we suggest you use to hold the paving slabs together. They are the Azpects Easy Joint Select and the VillaFix Porcelain Grout. Both of the products mentioned are high quality and durable compounds, that will endure for many years and will also inhibit the growth and spread of weeds.
Moreover, you will be able to lay the paving right onto the gravel, which is a much-loved option if you want to create a stone walkway through your garden.
If you prefer, you can also lay the paving onto a pedestal and easy grid systems rather than directly on the ground.
Should I Choose Porcelain Paving?
Due to its manufacturing process, Porcelain Paving is guaranteed to last decades, as long as it has been laid correctly.
During the manufacturing process, the Porcelain Paving slabs are kiln-fired at high temperatures of 1400 degrees. This ensures maximum strength and durability; a strength that traditional natural sandstone couldn't even compare to.
With Porcelain Paving for your garden, there are so many more colours and designs to choose from compared to Sandstone or Limestone paving. Where they are designed and printed on each slab, you can ensure consistency if you are looking to create a perfect, modern garden.
