The Pietra Serena porcelain slabs comprise a level and natural texture. The Pietra Serena Cream tiles are yellow-toned beige with extremely subtle drops of off-white and light grey. This colour combination has been purposely created to imitate natural stones and to avoid a look manufactured.
With a more rustic and natural look that aims to emulate natural stones such as sandstone and limestone, the Serena Cream is a great option for a wide range of design choices. The colouring of the pavers is chic yet understated, therefore making them a great choice for indoor flooring alongside being used for garden patios. The cream is not the only colour available in this range, the Spectrum Pietra Serena is also available in Grey and Anthracite.
As a result of the careful manufacturing process, the Serena Cream pavers possess many useful qualities, that will come in handy in the long run. They are resistant to mildew, and spill stains, and have a skid value ranging between R10 - R12, and you may find it helpful to note that an R12 rating makes these slabs commercially approved for safety, meaning they can be used in areas such as office courtyards and cafes.

This particular shade of beige is an excellent choice for summer villas and outdoor dining areas due to its brighter shade, it gives off a Mediterranean vibe to your garden, which will brighten your garden no matter what the season. These slabs will also look lovely indoors in areas such as kitchens and conservatories. The light beige tones will be easy on the eyes while still being impressive. With the Pietra Serena Cream, your flooring will look contemporary and chic, which makes them a great choice for more commercial areas such as restaurants, office courtyards and parks. Installing paving in your garden or indoor flooring is a laborious and often complicated process that requires attention to detail for it to be safe and secure. Due to these reasons, we would suggest hiring a professional Landscaper would be the best option. Building Sand or Washed Grit are the most used materials that are used by most landscapers to create a stable base for the paving to lay on. Added to the mix are Scalpings which results in an additional sub-base layer for the pavers to be laid on. Stone Zone are proud stockists of the best quality jointing compounds within the industry, giving you a choice for which you think would be best for you and your pavers. The compounds that we stock are Azpects Easy Joint Select and the VillaFix Porcelain Grout. Both the Azpects and the VillaFix are the best quality jointing compounds in the industry, not only will they securely hold your slabs together, but they are permeable, therefore reducing the risks of floods and also reducing the growth and spread of weeds. Furthermore, depending on what kind of design you want within your garden, you can lay these pavers directly onto suitable decorative stones, enabling you to create stone walkways through your garden. However, if that is not something you want and would rather not lay them directly on the ground, you can install them onto a pedestal and easy grid systems. Porcelain Paving is one of our best-selling products for good reason. It is a customer favourite because of its durability and because of the wealth of options you get when it comes to colours and designs. As a result of how these slabs were developed, they boast a much higher level of strength and longevity. Each piece has been blasted to 1400 degrees in a kiln to ensure that they are of the best quality it can be. This level of durability is not found in natural stone paving. As we have alluded to earlier, Porcelain Paving has much more variety when it comes to colours and finishes when compared to natural Sandstone or Limestone pacing. Each slab of porcelain paving has been carefully printed to have the same design so that you can create a patio that is seamless and smooth.Read More...
