Spectrum Pietra Serena Anthracite Porcelain Paving
A brand-new addition to our ever-growing range of Porcelain Paving, the Spectrum Pietra Serena collection is filled with exceptional and stylish options that will make any surrounding, be it indoors or outdoors, seem graceful and opulent. You need not worry about the quality of these Spectrum Tiles because they have been specially developed to be superior in durability and lastingness. Alongside these qualities, Spectrum slabs are also adept in resisting absorption, which goes to show how strong their integrity is and will also save you time and hassle, as they won't need to be sealed.
The Pietra Serena Porcelain slabs have a fairly even and organic texture. The Pietra Serena Anthracite tiles are a deep grey shade with subtle splatters of lighter grey shades. This particular shade makes a statement and grabs your attention. The Pietra Serena tiles have been designed to have certain colourings to emulate naturally derived stones, so if you want the look of natural stones without the extra burden, then we strongly recommend the Pietra Serena Anthracite.
With a more textured and rustic look that was specifically designed to imitate natural stones, like sandstone and limestone, the Serena Anthracite is often chosen by customers due to its versatility. The Anthracite, especially, although is a dark colour, will not deter from the rest of your garden or home, therefore making it a great option for an outdoor patio or indoor flooring. Alongside the Anthracite, the other shades available in this range are Grey and Cream.
Considering how these slabs were manufactured, the Serena Anthracite tiles have many desirable qualities, that make them top of the range. They have excellent resistance to spill stains and mildew and have been awarded a skid value ranging between R10 to R12. This is particularly impressive because an R12 rating makes them commercially approved for safety, but for a home or garden, it means that laying them poolside or areas that get easily wet will not pose a threat.

The Anthracite shade is a much darker shade for paving and therefore will look chic and modern in your home and garden. We think this particular shade is easy to decorate around as it goes well with pretty much any colour. Not only will these pavers make an excellent outdoor patio area, but they will also look beautiful as indoor flooring. Indoors, these paving slabs are often used in kitchens and conservatories. Because of how aesthetically pleasing the Anthracite shade is, they will also be a great choice for modern restaurants and office spaces. The deep colouring of these tiles will add a contemporary and exclusive look to a whole host of commercial areas. Laying paving slabs in your garden or inside your home is not a simple process, ideally, previous experience and attention to detail is required to make sure they have been installed safely and securely. Because of these reasons, we think the best option would be to hire and professional landscaper to take on this task for you. However, if you are determined and want to take on a project, then we have created a small guide to help you get started. Building Sand or Washed Grit are the materials most commonly used by landscapers to develop a stable base for the pavers to be laid on. Into this mixture, Scalpings are added, creating a sub-base layer for the pavers. At Stone Zone, we are constantly working hard to provide our customers with the best products around, and so the two jointing compounds that we stock are two of the highest quality jointing compounds in the market. The products are Azpects Easy Joint Select and the VillaFix Porcelain Grout. You will be hard-pressed to find better jointing compounds than Azpects and Villafix. They are perfect for jointing your slabs together safely and securely and because they are permeable, they will absorb rainwater and reduce flood risks. As a bonus they prevent the growth and spread of weeds, so your garden will stay look pristine. Finally, based on how you want to decorate your garden, you can lay these paving slabs straight onto suitable decorative stones, by doing this you will be able to create a whole host of designs, namely the famous stone walkway across your garden. But, if you are hesitant to lay them directly on the ground and would rather have some extra layers, you can lay the slabs onto a pedestal and easy grid systems. Our range of Porcelain Paving is some of our biggest and most popular sellers. Our customers are a fan of these slabs because of their longevity and the plethora of designs and colours they are available in. Due to the way these pavers were manufactured, they are much stronger and more long-lasting. These tiles have been heated to extremely high temperatures of 1400 degrees in a kiln to make sure that they are of the highest quality. You will not be able to find natural stone paving that has the same level of strength. As we have established earlier, Porcelain Paving are very long-lasting and comes in a large variety of colours and finishes which is a helpful quality for customers who are looking for specific colours and designs for their garden. You also do not need to stress about any discrepancies as each slab is printed to have th same design which will aid you in creating a flawless look.Read More...
