Because these Granite paving slabs were derived naturally in stone quarries, they can be inconsistent in regards to colours and shades. Each slab will be unique and slightly varied; this also means that gradually, due to the weather, changes will occur to the colour of the paving as well.

Granite Paving is a very stylish and versatile choice of Natural Stone Paving. The Dusky Grey Paving will look beautiful in a wide range of applications, such as garden patios, paving around the poolside, or even in more professional settings such a modern buildings and properties or even hotels and restaurants. The Dusky Grey Paving also look great as a driveway, they are sturdy and long-lasting enough to be appropriate for driveways and will also make the front of your home impressionable and one that will surely impress your friends and family. Granite paving slabs, including Dusky Grey, have a slight sparkling effect when reflecting the sunlight, which only adds to the shine and shimmer of the paving. Granite Stone is a natural stone that is even in texture and tightly grained. The manufacturers machine cut the surface of these patio slabs with a saw in order to achieve a smooth surface as well as uniformed and clean lines when it comes to the joins. These natural stones are a popular option due to their hardwearing exterior and dense interior qualities. They have such aspects because they derive naturally and are cut from crystalline and granular rock. Because of the nature of the paving stones, they are a great option for both homes and commercial settings. And don't be fooled by the shiny finish, the paving is certified with an R11 non-slip value, ensuring that even when wet, they are safe to walk on. Charlie Says: We recommend laying our sawn paving slabs on a full mortar bed and slurrying the back of the stone as you would with porcelain paving. Sealing Granite stones is optional but we would recommend doing this to protect the colour and prevent staining. We also suggest laying this paving in a sunny spot of the garden that isn't obstructed by trees. In order to make life stress free, we recommend you seal your paving with Azpects Easy Seal Stone Sealer & Protector - this way, you can rest assured that the colour of your paving will be retained. We strongly advise that you jet wash your paving twice a year to make sure that it stays nice and clean. Part of our Natural Stone Paving range is our popular Indian Sandstone Paving and Limestone Paving, as well as our Granite Paving. The similarities between these paver stones are that they have all derived from natural stone that tends to be found in India. Although, where Sandstone Paving is often hand sawn and more rustic, Granite paving slabs have been through a much more complicated process - namely the fact that they have been machine cut to make sure the edges are even and smooth; and they have also been honed to give them a more polished look. Because of all the extra steps that have gone into creating Granite Paving, they are the higher-calibre paving option. They definitely exude a more deluxe and opulent look, quite similar to Porcelain Paving. Therefore, in comparison, Sandstone has a much more muted and traditional look. As with all of our Natural Stone Paving, Granite Paving can discolour over time, which is why sealing the paving slabs are a good idea. If you prefer a garden paving that is better at maintaining its colour for a longer period of time, you might be interested in Porcelain Paving, which is a manufactured paving tile. Exterior Porcelain Paving is becoming more and more popular due to its favourable features and the variety of colour and patterns there are to offer. We have an exclusive 'Natural' range of Porcelain Paving that cleverly replicates our best-selling natural stone slabs. 'Natural' Dusky Grey Granite Porcelain Paving is the manufactured version of this paving. Sample slabs are available in-store and online, please ask a customer advisor.Read More...
