Jurassic Scuro Porcelain Paving
At the Stone Zone, we are always expanding our range of popular Porcelain Paving supplies - and now we have the Jurassic range which is just as good as the rest! Jurassic Porcelain Paving is non slip; rated at R11 commercial approval. It is high quality and long-lasting with a beautiful design that many of our customers will love.
The Jurassic Porcelain Paving range consists of a natural stone inspired design and five, stunning colours: Jurassic Scuro, Jurassic Grigio, Jurassic Azure, Jurassic Quartzite and Jurassic Crema. These colours all include beige paving slabs, grey paving slabs and black paving slabs.
Inspired by our beautiful Jurassic Coast within Dorset, the design of these patio slabs have taken inspiration from the natural stone and rocks that would have been found in the Jurassic era; such as sedimentary stone like sandstone and metamorphic stone like marble. Instead of being one, block colour, these paving slabs contain subtle markings and colour shade variations that make them look both contemporary and natural.
We are proud of our outdoor Porcelain Paving tiles which have been developed with Quartz, Pure Clay and other minerals, that are then mixed together and blasted to 1400 degrees Celsius, resulting in patio slabs that are long-lasting and durable.

Jurassic Scuro are a range of lovely dark grey paving slabs that turn almost jet black when wet. Dark grey patio slabs are a great choice for garden lovers that enjoy a sleek, professional-looking garden. Grey is a popular colour for garden furniture and painting areas such as fencing and decking, so these dark grey porcelain tiles will make a great garden patio. When choosing between Natural Stone Paving such as Sandstone Paving or Limestone Paving and Porcelain Paving, there are quite a few differences between the two which you may want to take into consideration. For a start, Porcelain Paving has been manufactured, with the paving slab designs having been created from scratch, in order to create a completely unique pattern. As mentioned above, Porcelain tiles consist of a mixture of premium minerals such as clay and quartz, for a fantastic finish to the look of the end product. On top of beautiful looks, Porcelain paving has been fired in a kiln at 1400C, undergoing an immense amount of pressure. This process ensures maximum durability and strength, so your paving slabs will last a long time, won't get easily broken in the installation process, and can withstand heavy foot traffic. In contrast to this, Sandstone and Limestone Paving is a natural stone, deriving from stone that was around millions of years ago, which can be found in quarries in India. Natural qualities of these pavers make for a really nice, rustic-looking paving patio, with its own patterns that have formed over years and years. This look is great for those with period properties or a garden that is looking for a rustic style. The durability of natural stone paving, however, isn't quite as good as Porcelain Paving. Where these natural stones have been cut from larger stones, they are naturally more brittle, therefore more likely to crack in the installation process, and generally not as 'hard' as porcelain. They are also not UV stable like porcelain, so the colour will fade over time. Lastly, the other difference between the two paving stones, is the maintenance that's involved. Porcelain Paving requires priming in the installation process, but will never require sealing. In fact, the only up-keep involved would be sweeping and jet washing as and when needed. With Sandstone or Limestone, however, this will need regularly sealing to try and keep the colour. Are you looking to completely re-vamp your garden?
