Here at Stone Zone, we pride ourselves in making sure that our customers have the easiest time possible when placing their orders, and that includes our delivery service as well. We understand that reading small prints and T&Cs can get a bit confusing somestimes, so with that in mind, we have created a handy FAQ guide filled with any and all questions you could have about our delivery service.

Why should I opt for our delivery service?

Our experienced delivery drivers are here to make your delivery smooth and hassle-free. Whether you’re tackling a small garden project or a major landscaping job, we do everything we can to meet your needs.

Thanks to the manoeuvrability of our lorries, we can deliver directly into your garden or even over fences, as long as there’s suitable access. With your permission, we’re also happy to complete deliveries even if you’re not at home.

How does your delivery work?

Our standard delivery lead time is within 5 working days (Monday to Friday), but during busier periods, it may take up to 7 working days. If you need your order sooner, we offer the option to upgrade to Saturday delivery or next-day delivery for an additional charge.

In some cases, deliveries may arrive earlier or slightly later than expected. If you require delivery on a specific day, please leave clear instructions in the 'Notes' section at checkout, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

After placing your order online, our customer service team will email you as soon as possible with your confirmed delivery date.

While we’re unable to guarantee specific time slots, we can advise whether your delivery is scheduled for the morning or afternoon. With your permission, we’re also happy to deliver your order if you are not available to receive it.

What are your local delivery rates?

We charge £18 per tonne for delivery, with the option to add extra items to the same pallet at no additional cost, provided there’s space available. For very small orders, it may be more cost-effective to collect your items directly from one of our three depots.

Our local delivery service covers all areas across Dorset, including Wareham, Dorchester, Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Ferndown, Wimborne, Ringwood, and Blandford. We also deliver to parts of Hampshire, including Southampton, Winchester, Basingstoke, and Eastleigh.

What are your national deliveries policy?

For deliveries outside our local area, charges vary depending on your postcode. Most product prices displayed online will already include standard delivery costs. If you’d like a Saturday or next-day delivery, an additional fee will apply.

National deliveries typically arrive within 3–5 working days, between 7:00am and 5:00pm. These orders are handled by Wyvern Cargo, using tail-lift vehicles to deliver your goods securely on a pallet.

Important Notes:

Deliveries to the Channel Islands, Scotland, and Ireland will incur a surcharge. To request a quote, please email sales@stone-zone.uk. If not requested in advance, we will notify you of any additional charges after your order is placed.

If there are any issues with your delivery, you must inform us within 48 hours of receiving your items. We are unable to resolve claims submitted after this period, so please ensure you inspect your order promptly.

How can I get an accurate quote for delivery in my area?

Our website reflects our current prices for all of the products we sell. You can receive a bulk discount on all aggregates depending on the quantity you buy.
Simply search a product, click into it and type in your postcode. This will give you an accurate price which includes delivery and any bulk discounts.

Do I have to be there for my delivery?

We can make deliveries even when you're not there. If we are delivering loose products on a driveway, you must have signed the indemnity form.

Can you provide time slots for delivery?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide timed slots for delivery; deliveries are from 7am - 5pm. You aren't required to be there for delivery and can leave delivery instructions for the driver when placing your order.
