It is sometimes easier when there are two of you though, as it's a very hands-on job.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 1\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUsing an electric paddle to ensure the mixture is well-mixed, add clean, cold water to the first sachet of powder. Mix this together slowly until the mixture becomes very smooth and lump-free. It's important not to over-mix the mortar which can create air bubbles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 2\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSoak your porcelain or ceramic tiles until they are wet but not enough so there is standing water. Once you've done this, you can start pouring your mortar over the joints, working in small areas at a time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 3\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStart spreading the EASYGrout into the joints using a squeegee. Try and work as fast as you can, and get a friend to help you if possible. Ensure that the joints are all as evenly filled as each, it should reach just below the level of the paving surface. Avoid too much residue where you can.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 4\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEnsure your paving is as clean as possible by wiping away the residue with a clean, damp sponge. This part is really important so spend as much time as you can on it. We would then recommend going over the tiles with another clean, damp cloth so they are nice and clean.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStep 5\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFinally, once the grout had set (it usually takes around 1-2 hours), you can wipe down any further residue with a wet, damp cloth.
